Impromptu Speech

Speaking Objectives:

  1. To teach the student to instantly make an inventory of specific and general information and select generalizations and materials appropriate to a specific topic.
  2. To foster the idea of speaking "off the cuff" that so often occurs in real life situations. 

Time Requirement:  3–4 minutes; with 30 second leeways.

Outline:  Not required.
